Keto Carnivore Bread
Today I’m going to walk you through how I made this yummy keto roast beef sandwich. It was super quick and easy and tasty. I had a sandwich container and I sprayed it with a little bit of avocado oil. I added two tablespoons of pork panko. If you don’t have pork panko, you can make your own.
I do have a video on that. I added a tablespoon of melted butter. A pinch of baking powder and some onion powder. I then added some liquid egg. This is liquid whole egg, not egg white. I didn’t measure. I was just going for a certain consistency. I stirred it up well and made sure to break up any clumps that were in the container and leveled it out. I microwaved for one minute and then pulled it from the microwave. I took the piece of bread out of the container and allowed it to cool.
While I went ahead and made my next piece of bread once both pieces of bread were done and cooled, i added some mayo to both sides of the sandwich and then on the one side. I added some mustard had a lot of roast beef that was leftover in the fridge and cold. So that is what I used to fill my roast beef sandwich with I added a fair amount so that it would be a really thick, dense sandwich. I topped it with some salt and pepper, and then I added two slices of cheddar cheese.
The reason I chose to make the bread this way in the microwave versus a chapel or paffle was that I wanted that authentic bread shape and feel this worked out perfectly. It totally had that bread, texture and didn’t taste eggy at all, and when I bit into my sandwich I felt like I was having an authentic roast beef sandwich that wasn’t keto. It was so good.
